Desde que creé este blog de forma estática usando Zola, he estado usando Remark42 como mi sistema de comentarios. Quería algo sencillo y autohospedado, y funcionó.
Actualmente recibo comentarios cada pocos meses y aproximadamente la mitad de ellos son spam. Remark42 parece olvidar quién soy cada vez, por lo que eliminar el spam implica recordar dónde está implementado Remark42, editar y volver a cargar el archivo de configuración cada vez solo para convertirme en el usuario administrador que elimina los comentarios.
Un día se me ocurrió que sería más fácil si me enviaran los comentarios por correo electrónico y pudiera agregarlos manualmente a mi blog.
Así que este fin de semana lo implementé con un código corto simple en mi código Zola, un poco de PHP y un formulario en la parte inferior de la página que simplemente le envía sus comentarios por correo electrónico. Luego buscaré spam y lo agregaré a la página cuando quiera.
Esto es más simple y aclara algo que siempre ha sido cierto: los comentarios son parte de mi sitio web y los estructuro según su relevancia, spam y civilidad.
La parte más difícil fue extraer la base de datos BoltDB de Remark42 y tomar medidas extremas para convertir los comentarios al formato correcto. Eso es divertido.

A Private Blog Network (PBN) is a collection of websites that are controlled by a single individual or organization and used primarily to build backlinks to a “money site” in order to influence its ranking in search engines such as Google. The core idea behind a PBN is based on the importance of backlinks in Google’s ranking algorithm. Since Google views backlinks as signals of authority and trust, some website owners attempt to artificially create these signals through a controlled network of sites.
In a typical PBN setup, the owner acquires expired or aged domains that already have existing authority, backlinks, and history. These domains are rebuilt with new content and hosted separately, often using different IP addresses, hosting providers, themes, and ownership details to make them appear unrelated. Within the content published on these sites, links are strategically placed that point to the main website the owner wants to rank higher. By doing this, the owner attempts to pass link equity (also known as “link juice”) from the PBN sites to the target website.
The purpose of a PBN is to give the impression that the target website is naturally earning links from multiple independent sources. If done effectively, this can temporarily improve keyword rankings, increase organic visibility, and drive more traffic from search results.
